“Pickles on a stick” sound like something that needs to be seen first hand. Also like idea of knife sharpener, I have a few that need some attention. Thx

I like the Hastings farmer’s market. They have activities for kids (yoga, story telling) and also, pickles on a stick, which can’t be beat! There is also a knife sharpener there most Saturdays. If you don’t have a car, you can just take the Metro North and the farmer’s market is a quick walk uphill (you’d have to walk up the hill anyway because there is free parking for the market in the station lot).

I think they are also planning to offer some events at the Inwood farmer’s market such “ask the farmer” , “learning to compost” and possibly some musical entertainment.
